Hanoi City, Vietnam – January 15, 2009 :Saigon Securities Incorporation, the largest securities company in Vietnam in terms of market capitalization and market share, did not take long before they recognized a need for an integrated portal website with a fresh, new branding.

The intended goal of this portal was to provide their clients and stockholders a medium to explore market and make transactions. The ability to provide online stock research reports to end users and stock analysts was also one of the key reasons for SSI to consider the development of a new portal.

There was a lack of alignment with user needs. Their previous website did not provide any differentiation of experience to meet the different needs of distinct sectors of target audience and also, there was no structured format to display real time quotes available in their previous system.

SSI was using a .NET CMS called DotNetNuke. Another major challenge in this project was to migrate the entire content from the existing sub-sites/business sections, including Securities Services, Asset Management, Investment Banking & Investor Relations, to one integrated CMS platform.

SSI decided to partner with eDynamic to evaluate their immediate & future Web requirements. After in-depth analysis, eDynamic proposed Sitecore CMS to SSI to manage their website and integrate their 4 business sub-sites in four different languages. Based on SSI’s business & functional needs, eDynamic developed a Sitecore CMS based portal with seamless integration of transaction payment processing & live quotes for securities.

The new website has a revamped look and feel with progressive & fresh aesthetics. It shows stock data through dynamically generated graphs, which makes it even more intuitive. Improved layout, content strategy focused around user needs and a more efficient online experience for prospects are some of the highlights of the new portal developed by eDynamic.

The new website has integration with their internal database via web services and it has workflows for the site users as well as for the site administrators. The portal has intuitive navigation and clear user paths to critical information, making it extremely user friendly. Non technical users will also be able to update the portal content quickly and easily through Sitecore CMS without overt IT assistance.
